DescriptionCOGITAT is a measuring system designed for the analysis of learning abilities of rats and mice. It consists of a regular hole board in which the experimentalist can load small pellets in a definite pattern. The test animals learn after several trials to find in a given time interval the pellets and memorize the spatial pattern of filled holes. COGITAT records all activities of the animals and calculates a large number of statistical parameters related to their learning abilities.
